On 1 April 2017 PFLNG Satu, marked another major milestone with the successful loading of its first cargo at the Kanowit gas field, offshore Miri, Sarawak. The cargo was fully loaded onto the LNG carrier, Seri Camellia.
With this accomplishment, PFLNG Satu, the world’s first operational FLNG facility, has fully proven its production systems from first gas, first LNG and finally to its first offloading.
FVSB has been involved in the PFLNG Satu since the pre-operations phase (Operations Readiness and Assurance Phase) from 2015, through to its installation at the Kanowit gas field and O&M phase from mid-2016 onwards. We are proud to have played a major role in the safe achievement of this milestone and we look forward to the continued safe and successful operations of the PFLNG Satu.
