FVSB has been awarded the contract for Operations and Maintenance services of the Marginal Marine Production Unit (MaMPU 1).
The vessel is destined for the Anjung Kecil Field, Offshore Sarawak, which is operated by Vestigo Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd.), with full operations commencing in Q4 2016.
The scope of work covers pre-operations (Operations Readiness and Assurance), offshore marine operations and maintenance (O&M), systems maintenance, classification and regulatory compliance, technical and non-technical support and onshore supply base.
MaMPU 1 was converted from an oil tanker, has a storage capacity of 318,000 barrels and is designed to produce 15,000 barrels of oil per day with 25 million standard cu ft per day (MMscfd) of gas handling capacity.
