MSOSH’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) award is an annual award presented by the Malaysia Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) with the intention to give due recognition to organizations which have achieved commendable Occupational Safety and Health performance through sound Safety and Health Management System.
MISC Bhd decided to participate in this initiative and nominated the FPSO MaMPU 1 which is operated by FPSO Ventures Sdn Bhd (FVSB) to be audited.
The audit process was done remotely from FVSB’s office on 30 September 2020 due to travel restriction during Covid-19 pandemic. The evaluation criteria for the MSOSH award is based on the following elements;
- Evaluate the implementation, including effectiveness of the OSH management system
- Information and evidence about conformity to an outstanding OSH requirement
- Evaluation of compliance with applicable legal and other requirements
- Performance monitoring, measuring, reporting
- Reviewing against key performance objectives and targets
- Performance as regards with legal compliance and stakeholder’s expectation
- Operational control of organizational processes and respect to OSH elements
- Management commitment and continual improvement
- Management responsibility for policies
- Competence of personnel
We are honoured to be awarded in the 2020 MSOSH Award 2019 Gold Merit under the category of Petroleum, Gas, Petrochemical & Allied Sectors. FVSB wishes to thank MSOSH and MISC Bhd for this recognition and we will intend to strive for more next year.
